Tailor-Made Music Program
Stassi Kids Music is a music education program presented at your pre-school. The program is tailor-made for little ones from the age of approx. 3-6 years. We teach rhythm, melodies, songs and appreciation of music while we dance, sing and play instruments. Music classes are presented in weekly 30min sessions during school terms.
Why Music?
Research suggests that music education help children as young as 4 show advanced brain development and improvements in memory. It also shows that music education can lead to improvements in literacy, verbal memory, visiospacial processing, mathematics and IQ. The research found particular changes in the attentional systems of children exposed to music education which affected their ability to pay attention.
Qualified and Experienced
Classes are presented by myself, Elizna Stassen. I’m a music teacher residing in Centurion with a B.Mus degree and more than 15 years of experience with piano and music classes. I have a passion for music for little ones because of my love for music and because I have four children of my own, ranging from the age of 2 to 11.

Class Timeslots
We have separate rooms and tutors for violin and piano classes thus classes can take place at the same. Students are grouped according to their availability and level. A minimum of 4 students per class needed to open a time slot. Please let us know if you have another preferred time and we can attempt to open another slot. We are also available in the mornings.
2019 School Terms
1st Term : 9 January – 15 March
2nd Term : 2 April – 14 June
3rd Term: 9 July – 20 September
4th Term: 1 October – 4 December
There are no classes during school holidays or on public holidays. Classes that are missed are forfeited and cannot be rescheduled.
Class Fees
A once-off registration fee applies when a student enrolls at Stassenheim Music. This fee is to reserve a time-slot and is payable before classes commence.
Class fees per term are paid in advance before the start of each school term. Classes can only be attended if the monthly/term fees were received.

Payment Method
Please settle your class fees via EFT and select the option where the bank sends a notification of payment to using the student’s name and surname as reference. Fees are non-refundable and the payer does not receive a refund if the student ceases attendance or misses classes. Should a student wish to cancel his/her enrollment, a written notice and payable notice period of one term is required.
